     Just wanted to let you know we are doing just fine!  Grace is beautiful girl...with the sweetest personality.  Though we have only had her eight short days, it seems as though she was always with us, as she had well intergrated herself into our family.

     Anyone interested in owning a dane really should consider Penrose Kennels, all because of YOU, Terri.  I trusted you from the very start, never once did I doubt that Grace would be just as you told me.  It comforts me to know you are there, as a wonderful support person should I need you.  I want to thank you for all of your patience with me, and about sharing your knowledge of danes with me.

So glad to see that you and yours have recovered from the fire! Although our time with Jake was short, we will never forget his personality, gentleness, and his incredible desire to serve and protect our family. He will forever own a piece of our heart and will remain a precious memory forever. We have recently relocated from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs and are looking to adopt another Great Dane.  Am interested in either a puppy, an older puppy or young adult  All three adults you currently have on your website, look like terrific pets. I'd like to learn more about adoption costs and availability.

Our family is looking for a black great dane puppy to add to our family. We recently lost our 14 year old chow and 10 year old boxer to old age. We have done some homework on breeds and decided the next dog we would like to have is a great dane. I look at your site almost everyday.  I love your dogs.  We have 2 Labs right now and I would love to add a Dane to our family.  We are still looking for a bigger place so hopefully in the future I will get to have one of my own.  Until then I will continue looking here.

My fiance and I have been to your website hundreds of times always dreaming about our future puppy.  We have always admired your dogs and have been able to meet many pups from many litters in area dog parks both in Aurora and Fort Collins.  All of your dogs are exceptional looking and have gone to excellent homes!

Currently we have a Great Dane mix that we acquired from the Denver Dumb Friends League a year ago, thinking that our quench for a Great Dane would be momentarily satisfied.  But, like potato chips, you can't have just one!  We think the time is finally drawing nearer to being able to add another Great Dane to our lives and we will definitely be looking at your puppies!  It is so hard to wait!

Great danes are simply additional family members. Treat a dane like a valued family member and he or she will "steal" your heart. The last dane I had was my best friend and greeted me always. I look forward to getting another great dane in the future.

I just wanted to send you an update on my Sadie.  She turns two in less than a month and she continues to be a blessing.  I have enjoyed her company so much that I am considering another sister or brother for her.  You have given me my best friend and any one who visits this site should definately adopt from you!  Take it from some one who has! 

I've been watching the growth of my daughter and son-in-law's new puppy, Bella. She is a beautiful fawn puppy almost ready to go home. Since I am in Oregon, this is my way of seeing the new family member before we can get out to visit. Thank you for the web site.

WOW! What can we say , every day gets better and better with Azul. So much so that we are starting to consider boy #2??????? Big decision but Azul has been such a treat and we understand that the older one helps to train the new one that we are thinking that come spring it will be time. My wife and I are really interested in getting a Great Dane. We have bought all the books and have done a lot of research.  We have had dogs in the past, but this time we really wanted to get our dog from a true breeder that has a true understanding of the breed their selling. We want to make sure we do things the right way.  We are really interested in the fawn color.  We are most interested in a companion dog, to be part of our family.I would like to know what tests are performed on the puppies and the type of food the puppies should eat, and anything else you would think would be informative.

I am so excited to have found you on the internet.  I have been wanting a Great Dane of my own for years.  We had a Dane/St Bernard mix as a child and she was amazing.  My brother currently has 2 Danes and I stop by his house for the sole reason of seeing the girls.  My husband supports my love of the dogs and is finally ready to get me one.  Keep your finger's crossed!

I love my beautiful blue Kai! She was born November 21st, 2003 and just turned 1! I really appreciate how you are always answering my questions so promptly. I feel GREAT about my pup and our breeder/owner relationship. I'm so bummed about missing your latest reunion but my baby girl was born August 19th. I can't wait until next year when I can go! Keep doing what you're doing and Kai and I will hopefully make it in 2005.

For anyone beginning research on this breed; my big girl is smart, great with kids, great with other dogs, and protective when she needs to be. She's awesome off leash and on. I've never owned a more affectionate and human-like dog.

  I just wanted to give you an update on Sasha.  She is an amazing puppy, at 3 months she was 46 pounds and now at 4 months is taller than my 5 year old lab.  She has been adjusting very well here she will soon be spayed and I am sure that will go well. I receive compliments on her on a daily basis.  We love having her and I want to thank you once again for breeding with love because it shows everyday.  Sasha is truly a gentle giant. I will send pictures soon.

Last summer, we lost our German Short-haired pointer. He was almost 16. In spite of our sadness, it was Max's time, and to attempt to keep him with us would not have been fair.

In late summer, my husband and I brought home a young brindle female - since she looked so much like a "lioness" (Linus) we named her Lucy, from the Charlie Brown cartoon. She became an instant member of the family - with wonderful quirks which made her a joy to have around. She had a fascination with cloth. No longer could I leave the bathroom door open (the rugs kept ending up in the backyard) or hang a dishtowel on the refrigerator handle. Those ended in the back yard too!

After about six weeks when her shot series had been completed, we took Lucy to be spayed. During the operation, the veterinary surgeon discovered what she termed to be abnormal anatomy, which caused complications during the surgery. The ovary was actually imbedded in the intestine, resulting in part of the intestine being removed as well. In the few days that followed, Lucy developed an infection, and in spite of hours at the overnight emergency veterinary clinic and a subsequent operation at our own veterinarian, we lost Lucy at just five months. Anyone who has had a Dane will realize the devastation we felt.

Lucy can never be replaced, but we are searching for another Brindle Dane. The house is lonely without a canine companion. If you have any, or know of anyone who has a Brindle (male or female), please contact us. Thanks so much for your help. 

I am excited about getting the 13 week old Great Dane. My husband and I are getting the house ready for the newest edition to our family. She will have a little and I mean little brother that is a bunny named Cadbury. We have decided on a name for this little girl, Aspen. Perfect for a Colorado born and raised puppy. I will be there Friday to pick her up and bring her to her new home that has a lot of room for her to frolic in. She will even have a farm to play on on the weekends. Hopes she likes that!
